I just got this from a friend. I think it's a really good idea!
https://thankyourebbi.com/
Quote: | Chasdei Lev is proud to introduce Thank Your Teacher, an appreciation platform where parents and talmidim can show their Hakaras Hatov to their Rebbeim and Moros in a financial way. All funds are sent directly to the selected Rebbi or Morah, along with your personal note of gratitude |

If I am a morah and dh is unemployed, then I qualify!?
As far as I kmow, most schools only give chasdei lev to rebbeim. The school partially funds the org for their staff,so they decide who qualifies.
In our school, only rebbeim get.

I have friends who are teachers and their husbands are rabbeim and earning a lot more than us and I wish we could benefit. I am not the primary breadwinner by a small salary difference and my husband works for an institution/school/yeshiva...
I do however think what Chasdei Lev is doing is great and fully support it |
So why are they eligible if they earn more then you? I imagine it's income based is it not?

For all schools included every staff member is there, regardless if they get chasdei lev or not

All rebbeim are eligible and teachers are only if they are considered primary breadwinner. They also have to teach kodesh I think.

This. So a rebbe earning 60k as primary breadwinner vs a Morah earning 32k as primary breadwinner doesn't quite match. Our school includes only full time kodesh Morahs

I don't think this is accurate,
my husband is a rebbe in a yeshiva that gives Chasdei Lev but for multiple reasons we haven't ordered from them.
I just looked and my husbands name was not there, and I searched another Rebbe that I know hasn't ordered and he wasn't there either.
Others, did come up.

Why are high schools never included? Is it because we teach for shorter increments?

Does anyone else dislike this tipping website? Isn't tipping culture out of control enough already? Our rebbeim and morahs don't work for tips!

Agreed
It just created another not-so-subtle pressure on the parents and is basically just a way for wealthy parents to bribe the teachers in a respectable way. So many of us struggle just to scrape together tips for chanuka and purim as it is

Just wanted to point out, I know nothing personally about this campaign or how CL works.
If anyone knowledgeable about the guidelines could shed light on how CL works, please share

I used it to send a monetary gift to a Rebbe last year Chanukah time. It was an easy way to give a Chanukah gift without my son having to take it to school.

personally I think its enough already. We give chanuka tips. we give mishloach manos. then it became mishloach manos and a check. then its end of year gifts.
now its becoming sukkos and pesach also? 3 times a year isnt enough? now we have to do 5 times a year?
I already give more than half my check to tuition. I cant tip every other month to every teacher and rebbi also.

Very true!
I agree that rebbeim and teachers are doing avodas hakodesh and deserve to be recognized for that.
BUT they can only do that because of the tuition I'm paying. I'm already paying so much in tuition and am having a hard time affording it. Now on top of it to ask me for more is not fair.
Many middle class families are struggling and no one's helping them out. They may not be working in klei kodesh but those working in klei kodesh can only do it because of the others. So stop glorifying it over all else!
Chasdei lev or any similar organization should be open to ALL middle class families and have financial guidelines.
I know a parent that showed up to a yeshiva event in middle of the day in his work clothes. The Menahel commented and asked why he couldn't change to more respectable clothes and he answered that its in middle of his work day and he's working to pay tuition. This sums it up!
