I just went through a hard loss and I would like to be away from my neighborhood for yom kippur as it will be extremely triggering for me.
Is anyone aware of a hotel that’s close to an orthodox shul that we will be able to step in if we feel we want to have yom kippur vibes?
I was thinking in Deal NJ but it doesn’t have to be there.

Hmm… No idea. All chabad shuls require a seat?

Paying for a seat is one thing. Reserving is another. I can’t speak to all shuls obv but YK is nothing like a typical shabbos. It’s when most every member of a community goes to shul and reserves a seat.
I think you need to be looking for a shul that would allow a ‘walk in’

If you're willing to go to different Orthodox Jewish community, virtually all Orthodox Jewish communities have hotels in or near them.
