I have it. it needs some care after every wash but I cant love this machine enough. it does real good job vacuuming and washing at once. It dries the floor so quickly that my kids can literally walk into the room while I am doing it.

I have it too and love it. As mentioned above, it needs to be emptied and rinsed immediately after use every time which can be a nuisance.
It makes the house look so much cleaner then a regular vacuum because it picks up all the dust, and washes and dries instantly.
I want to look into the s7. Someone mentioned that that one doesn’t need as much maintenance which sounds like gan Eden.
But for a start, the s5 is a great tool.

if you purchase the S7 and you are that much happier, can you keep me posted? If this machine needs to be replaced.

Thx!
About how long does it take to empty and wash? Do you have to take it apart?

I have the one without. Doesnt take long. couple minutes at most to remove some parts, empty tank, rinse and then set onto base to do autowash.

Twenty seconds. You do need to take it apart which is included in the twenty second.
The problem is if I’m in a major rush and plan to come back to it later in the day, then forget about it (obvi) it stinks. Which is unpleasant.
Overall, it’s a net win and highly recommended.
I’ll keep you posted if I try the 7. I can’t justify the purchase yet. Especially if the only reason I want it is to pander to my own laziness.

I bought one over the summer. I'm the laziest cleaner and it does work well but I do find the taking it apart bit of a hassle. I don't use it unless I know I'll have time to clean it because I'm afraid I'll forget and leave it sitting and it'll get moldy and ruined. So it's not in daily use for me because I don't want to add another 10 min to my routine. It's not hard but there's a bunch of parts you have to leave them to dry before reassembling.

Should I get with cord or cordless?

Definitely cordless....Just saying, my s7 with steam is extremely heavy. But I tried with cord and it was SO annoying.

It's amazing for quick clean ups but it doesn't replace a deep clean every so often.

I have the s7 pro (no steam). I'm in Israel. I love it! Does take a few minutes to rinse out the dirty water tank, but still easier than mopping and vacuuming separately! Then it self cleans the brushes on the base for a few minutes with nothing needed from me. Got it several months ago, no bad smells or anything. It has changed my life honestly.
