My wash machine is moldy. Whatever I do to clean it lasts for a few days and then it just molds up again. It is a top loader without an agitator and is starting to break so looking into new ones.
What features do I need to look at and which ones won't mold? That is a top priority for me.

Appliance repair man told me to get GE with microban. Supposed to prevent mold. I only have it for short time so can’t report on it. Also wondering if I still have to leave the door open or do anything else.

I've had a samsung pair for 2.5 years and no mold whatsoever. I also leave the door open after every wash and it alerts me to when a self clean is necessary.
