Dd has a corduroy dress that gets full of lint after every wash. I have to use a lint remover before she wears it which is very annoying. Any ideas how to prevent it?

Google says not to overload washer. Also don't wash with towels or fleece items or sweaters. How about a separate wash?

It needs to be washed in its own load so it doesn't pick up fibers from other materials.

I generally wash it with similar type clothes but I’ll try to wash it on its own and see what happens. Never had an issue with ds’s pants 🤷♀️
