I don’t want to go to school I don’t want to go to shul everyday….I just want to stay in bed with a pillow on my head

When I was developing curriculum for a school and wanted to use a Country Yossi song the principal told me that you don't teach by kids by using negative role models like Tuki. It was a concept that really resonated with me.

And I feel the opposite- one of my kids is named Akiva, and I absolutely did not let anyone call him Kivi because his know it all attitude and how he is always correcting Tuki, who really just doesn’t know any better, is super annoying.

Everyone considered him the nebach of the shteebl
He'd never done a single thing to prove that they were wrong
His real name was Moishy
But folks just called him nebach
But something always told me
They were reading moishy wrong.
(Haven't heard this in over 25 years so I may have messed up the words. )
