Why do so many of the frum sets have so much white on them? Isn't an issue with staining and it's much better if there are colors/gray. Any recommendations for a nice comfortable set with some lavender in it and no big pieces of white?

I stay away from white. Bought a nice set at D'rose in Brooklyn.

I hope the trend passes soon.
On top of being problematic its so not practical.

Considering this trend has been around at least 2 years now, I doubt it'll go anywhere any time soon.
I often wonder about guestrooms with white linen. Why are the hosts using sheets that can be problematic?

And embarrassing to the person who might stain it.

But literally you can avoid so many issues by having colorful sheets!

I feel dumb for asking, but I read here all the time about white linen and staining issues, am I the only one who never stains? I've never heard of such a thing, am I just lucky? Unless I have a period why would it get stained?

I dont understand. what's the issue with a white sheet? if you stain the sheet then for sure your other clothes like undergarmets and sleepwear will be stained too.
I don't like white because it's so not practical.

Don't want to be TMI but when DTD you are not wearing undergarments or sleepwear right? If it's even a tiny amount on white it will be a problem.

It’s a minhag to not sleep on white unless your in the 7 clean days.

white linen has fresh crispy look, I just love white background.
As you see all hotels have white linen, it's a clean look.
As far as issues with staining, not everyone has this issue.
Regarding lavender set I love this one it has lavender sheets. https://luxurylinenofny.com/pr.....g-set

btw not everyone has the same minhig not to sleep on white, I think litfish have this minhig and chasidim not. (maybe I'm wrong) but I'm satmar and we have no such minhig. We can sleep on what ever we like. Only 7 days we need to sleep on white.

The problem is if there is blood on white, even just a little, it is very problematic and can render you nida. If it’s on color, you can ignore it. So it’s just a little dumb to risk it and open yourself up to problems.

I dont remember hearing this but these linens aren't all white.
I loved the hotel look but if it had been solid white it would be much easier to bleach.
For me its so much more a practicality issue.
Makeup
A child touching your linen
Really anything makes it stainy.

The nice thing about white sheets is that you can use a whitening agent and so actually easier to keep clean.
Unless you change bed linen infrequently and don't want to be able to be faced with the grime or shmootz on them.
