Her cleaning lady is totally fine ladies!
She apologized and the lady asked if she still wanted her to come.
All’s good!

Yikes! Stereotype much? My former cleaning lady was a supervising psychiatric nurse in her native country. And I spent some time doing housekeeping myself when I was between jobs.

What's a stereotype? That in general people who clean houses don't have money? Actually, that seems reality based and not a stereotype.

If you’re cleaning houses in between jobs and you’re fine with that then no problem!
If you’re trying to make a career out of it but don’t show up when you say you will, cut corners while you work, spend time on your phone when you think no one is watching then you really aren’t going to be that respected.

Happens to my daughter all the time. People forgetting they reserved her or cancelling last second. She realizes they are human and just moves on.

That’s very different than forgetting to cancel, having ur daughter show up, wait around, and then having her transportation home paid for

More like that cleaning ladies don’t have brains, skills, self respect, or common sense.

But that’s not what’s being discussed here. We have no idea how well or not well the cleaning lady does her job, but we DO know that she waited for an hour before deciding to go home.

. Oh, please. I was responding to that obnoxious post about people cleaning houses for a living because they don't have half a brain. That should have been obvious to you. And equally obviously, my former cleaning lady was cleaning houses precisely because she needed money and her lack of English precluded her getting any other kind of job. As soon as she improved her English enough to get back into the white-collar world, she was done cleaning houses.

I love the cleaning lady posts. Someone posts a simple question that’s really not a big deal and then all the cleaning lady advocates get emotionally involved with all the cleaning lady rights and wrongs.
I don’t think anyone is ever mean to their cleaning ladies. I don’t know why some people make these simple threads pages long. It’s as if they were hired from the Mexican embassy to protect the cleaning ladies.
Everyone is nice to them and appreciates when their houses get clean.
