Hi, my sons flight has been changed . Not going from Israel to UK directly anymore, he has to stay overnight in the airport at Larnaca.
Is that safe, to spend 10-12 hours sitting in the airport overnight?
Or is there a hotel right next to the airport where he can stay?
Also he wont have use of a mobilephone. He will have no internet access either.
Please advise, we are feeling very worried abot this.

My daughters did an overnight in Larnaca 10 days ago when their flight from London to TLV was cancelled and they were forced to reroute.
They stayed in a B&B which was a 10-15 walk from Chabad, where they had a very nice dinner  .
They took cabs up and back from the airport to the city (a 15 minute drive).

No need to worry. They were totally fine.

Thanks for responses.
Does anyone know if hes actually allowed to stay in the airprt overnight?
or does anyone know how to find contact info for chabad rabbi there?

We stayed overnight in Larnaca airport (but less hours than that). There wasn't any problem with us being there, but it wasn't comfortable either. Not many seats, no where to buy food or drink.
