I bought a pack n play mattress on Amazon, since baby is in the pack n play long term. It can’t but it’s not very firm so when I put it in the pack n play frame it gets concave in the middle. The sides r coming up. Has anyone tried this before?
I regret throwing out the last one n

Did you velcro the tabs?

We also bought a thicker mattress when we had a kid in long long term. Similar to this

There’s no Velcro to use.
This is what I ordered- has good reviews but I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Is it supposed to go on top of the regular mattress or instead of? It seems too soft to be able to lay properly directly on the base. I have a standard graco pack n play

I think it has to go on top of the pack and play mattress, it's just a topper.

Hi,
No judgement at all with whatever you decide to do. I just want to put it out there since I looked into this myself. Pack n plays are only supposed to be used with the matress it comes with. It purposely comes with that type of matress since the sides of the crib are flexible (mesh), so if there is a thicker matress there could cvs be room for baby to get stuck. This is why they provide such a thin one.
Just a psa
take it for what oyu want
