Still waiting for a response from my Rabbi, but in the meantime I just wanted to know: can I bake a noodle kugel (noodles boiled in a dairy pot) uncovered in a meat oven that wasn't used for meat in over 24 hours and serve it at a dairy meal? There's still a lot about kashrut that I don't know so I wanted to ask. Thanks

There are different opinions on this. Some will say yes and some will say no.
For those who say yes, the oven needs to be clean.

And some will say to clean and then burn it out on highest flame for a set amount of time.
I guess waiting for your LOR 's response will be wisest.

Was the dairy pot used in the past 24 hours?
The way I learned (Ashkenazi, stricter than sefardi) if the utensils are not used within the past 24 hours and there's no other pot/oven available (pareve, or of the same "gender"), it's allowed.
I'm not sure if there's a preference in your case to cook in a fleishig pot not used for 24 hours since you're also using a fleishig oven.

Yes definitely. I was simply stating the baseline of the most lenient opinion. There's a myriad of other opinions in between.

I think you need to clean it and put oven on highest setting (at least over 500) and leave for 40 min. Please confirm when you hear back.

There's a difference between needing to kasher for a different "gender" and something that is nat bar nat (like the DE designation)...

If the oven wasn’t used in 24 hours and is clean from spills you still need to burn out?

No, I don't think so. I think in this case it's totally fine.
