I have to cook a meat for Yom Tov and I really don’t want to flop like previously.
I’ve maybe once cooked meat and it worked out well.
I’m having guest. My ego is at stake.
Here’s what I need:
- a meat recipe
- and recommendation for type of meat
- to feed 4 adults
- that can be made in crockpot
- and also be used for meat pizza
Chefs, fire away. Ty ty ty.

You could make pulled beef in the crockpot. I would use a chuck roast or second fillet. Season liberally with salt and pepper then sear the meat on all sides and put in crockpot which has a few onions sliced. Add a sprinkle of brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder and 1 cup of water and cover. When it’s softened you can pull apart and add your favourite bbq sauce( I like sweet baby rays). I usually pull the meat in a separate dish and only add as much liquid from the crockpot as needed to moisten the meat.

What type of meats do you have?
I can give you many different easy ideas like lamb chops, baby ribs, pulled beef, pot roast, London broil salad ect.
Edit- a pot roast in the slow cooker is a no-fail.

100% possible I just find seating it gives it that extra dimension but plenty good without it!

An easy non patchke way of searing meat is to place it in the oven at 450 for 15 minutes.

You can never fail with corned beef it’s the easiest thing ever.
Boil corned beef in beef stock and warchester sauce , bay leaves and some mustard seeds.
Boil 1 hr per lb. Mine was 3 lb I did 3.5 hrs. Add in some veggies carrots baby potatoes celery for last 30 min
Take meat out let rest for 10 min. Slice against the grain
You can also make this in a crock pot but I don’t know timing
