Anyone has experience using LDN instead of biological infusions? Or any other oral meds instead of infusions with great results. Please 🙏🏻 help me know more about this and how I can help my daughter (ibd)
Any doctors in NY I can consult regarding LDN who would prescribe and monitor progress?
Please help

I did a course of steroids followed by an anti inflammatory med to keep it stable , not a strong med, instead of infusions. May have to switch to infusions but hope not to

I lost my appetite on naltrexone and dropped 20 lbs in a few months. Be careful.

Wow. Was dose too high too fast. I read it needs to be built up slowly and monitored closely

LDN works differently from standard naltrexone.

OP there's quite a bit of research on this. I came across some from an Israeli team recently.

If you need a dr to rx , you can try https://ldndoctor.com/?gad_sou.....w_wcB

Currently on biological infusions.

But, for many years I’ve been on anti inflammatory med -mesalamine ( from teenage years) which came after a cycle of steroids.

I had done steroids- mesalamine twice ( total of 15 yrs) before I switched up to biologics.
