On another similar note to OP,
I once won an Instagram giveaway and was sooo excited. It was supposed to be a 250 gift card to a popular store in my city...
When I tried to check out online it said the card was for $25 (not the 250).
I dm'd the influencer and she just responded with some of these emojies
😳😝😬🤔🙏
I unfollowed her.

I know influencers who don’t even give any prize, they ask a friend to pretend they are the winners
I would honestly call her out on it publicly- like comment on the giveaway post and any future ones
I think it’s actually stealing. She gets monetary value from these giveaways and is not giving it as promised
