I voted that I pay full tuition plus donations but it’s a Lakewood school so tuition is 8k per kid. I pay tuition for two kids and next year three baruch Hashem.

I voted very behind. I still owe $10k from 2 years ago, let alone last year or this year. Paying it very slowly but hopefully I'll finish before I'm a great-grandmother.

ETA for context: Our income is over $120k annually.
Last year and 2 years ago tuition was about $70k
This year's tuition is about $95k (not including summer)

One school gave us reduced tuition in exchange for a service I provide. Other school refuses to work with us this year but said probably next year. We can't afford it so it goes on the credit card and we currently have 20k credit card debt that we shuffle around to pay as little interest as we can manage.

I don't actually pay full tuition for all of my kids, as I live in a state with government subsidies, but the full tuition gets paid, I pay what the state doesn't. I also pay full for my preschooler who doesn't get a subsidy.

In Israel, tuition is 170 shekel a month, so yes I pay in full and give teachers big tips. (Didn’t vote though)

The poll does account for how much is full tuition and how many kids.

There are many communities where tuition is 25k per kid. Even 4 children means around 100k in tuition.

Mine is about 16-18k a kid plus some fees which add up to thousands- some are per family and some are per kid.

Between my kids in yeshiva and the daycare- it's my entire full time professional salary post tax so we get a discount now.

If we lived where it was 5-10k per kid total it would be feasible to pay full.

We pay full tuition for 4 kids, and most for the 5th. 3 are in yeshiva so it includes room and board. It's hard and things are tight, but bh were managing. We feel it's important to try to pay full if we can.

I pay full tuition, plus extra. One child, HS age, I pay 16k plus about 5k extra a year to sponsor things. Another child, elementary, is 15k and I sponsor class things like trips and slurpee days. Last child is special needs and tuition is 26k. We also donated another 20k this year alone.

It’s the first year we ever asked for a reduction… my tuition went up $1,000 per child this year. We ended up getting $1k off the total, so we’re still paying more than last year but not the full amount. It’s embarrassing but on the other hand it was a huge jump…

We now have vouchers bh (the legal one) and we are on a payment plan to pay what we owe. It's going to take a few years to pay it because even with reduced rate it's alot of money, and then there are those kids that don't qualify anymore. So now we pay up the monthly tuition plus a certain amount towards the balance owed.

I think it makes a huge difference how much your tuition is. Some places it is less than 10k, others its 20k.
Our tuition is 16k/child. We pay a little more than 1/2.
