Do others have it too or it's just coincidence? Had 4 in the last 2 days and usually we can have weeks of no blood spots.

Eggs sold commercially ( at least in the U.S.), are not usually fertilized so most Rabbanim say that you only need to remove the blood spot.

Were the eggs white or brown? I've noticed that at least in Europe, brown eggs have far more spots of various colors than white eggs.

Yes! I bought brown eggs from Aldi's and almost the whole carton had blood spots. I've never seen anything like it.

It could be because of heavy rain or any other reason if the chickens get frightened. Sometimes they release some matter into the egg.. not actually considered a book that most of the time unless it's really dark. Red blackish color on the yolk.

Brown eggs are known for it.
