No, I am not judging anyone who wears a slip skirt/dress.
I’m just wondering if anyone else besides for me thinks that it looks like lingerie.
And yes everyone can wear what they want to wear and No, I don’t wear them because I think it looks like lingerie. But I’m just wondering if I’m the only one who thinks so because it’s so in style.

It depends...
The low cut v-neck dresses with spaghetti straps, yes

And if you do think they look like lingerie, do you still wear them anyway? Why?

The cheaper ones I hear
The more expensive no
The slip skirts that are pricey don’t look like it all
I do agree that the slip dress look with out either a cardigan or blouse tied up could give that look

Cool yeah I guess it makes sense the crew neck ones aren’t straps.

I was so shocked the first time I saw them in a store…couldn’t believe frum stores were selling them as clothing. I tried one on and honestly I looked amazing in it, but it was so clingy I literally felt like I was wearing lingerie…have seen people look great and very appropriate in it though. But not for me.

If it were more like a sheath dress, just longer, I'd say no. But the way they are right now?

Yeah. I think it's really pretty, but not for me. Also because I really don't have the figure to pull one off.

...and you can very often see the lines of all underwear, which people don't realise.

There is a reason this fabric is used for lingerie. And you do see every curve and every underwear line. As I walk down the street having everyone’s underwear in my face I wonder why people don’t see how bad it looks.

I saw it irl. It's called a slip dress, it looks like a slip dress, and it is a slip (without the dress) lol

Yes for the most part but for some reason I'm seeing other things called slip dresses (instead of jumpers) including velvet ones! Those are a lot less problematic on the right person...

Yes and I did get a slip skirt for Pesach and I wear it but I feel uncomfortable when I wear it. I would never buy a spaghetti strap slip dress.

They do. That's why they're called SLIP dresses.

My question is if they stain easily. Like every drop of water that touches it leaves a mark?

Not all are clingy but the material is very suggestive. My opinion. I did try one on recently that wasn't actually clingy. The lining was cotton.

The skirt is not as bad as the dress. I think the dresses are horribly inappropriate.
