I'm married for 10+ years and over the years owned a piece or 2 but that's it.
Would really like to get some pieces without spending too much... I'm pear shaped size XL which pieces would suit me? How do I know what to order? Or how does it work if I go into a store? I haven't been to a VS ever.
Help out a newbie here. Thanks!! 😊

I buy a ton on SHEIN. Cheap and easy. Unblock your filter for a bit, and you can browse. Justin if from the app or incognito browser so you don’t get lingerie adds popping up in the future. I love that with lingerie, I don’t need to care if it suits my figure, or lack of figure.
Last time I purchased lingerie in person was at least 10 years ago. As a kallah, I went to Macys and VS. shopped at VS exclusively for first few years. I don’t necessarily find their things nicer. Just pricier.

It works the same way all clothing stores work. You walk in, you pick out stuff to try on (either with or without a sales lady's assistance), you try stuff on you decide what you like, you pay, you leave.
Many department stores or other chain stores carry lingerie -- you don't have to go to VS.

I found starting with a silk, lacey camisole set to be a nice intro into lingerie.
Or even a short silky, lace, soft short nightgown with matching panties.

I prefer shopping in the lingerie dept of Macy's , Nordstroms, and department stores like that.
You can get good prices when they have sales.
Walk in, go to the department, pick out some pieces, take to the fitting room, buy what you like.
