Im not in the US.
I do Morrocan Tan.
Its very natural and you can control how dark you want it.

For me personally it's not what I wear. It's my skin type and how I apply it. Apply it in layers (liquid, powder, liquid, powder, setting solution and stays three days) I also don't have oily skin.
