My baby is two and I don't see testicles in his scrotum. I remember that he definitely had them when he was tiny, so they're definitely not undescended, but at this point, his scrotum is really tiny and there's nothing in there.
Is that normal? Is it something to worry about?
Did anyone have it with their kid?

I don't think so...but I'm not sure. I don't know what I'm supposed to feel. It's definitely not obvious.

Does anyone remember the thread about baby’s part being pushed in. Someone said urologist might be helpful and someone said ask your pediatrician. Guess what I asked, I told him this is my sixth boy and I never had this issue. Do you think we will have a hard time training him? Cuz we discussed…and someone said she can’t toilet train her 3 yo.. omg did I get a yelling!! And he’s the kindest softest dr ever! He yelled, with whom exactly do you discuss thisssss.. pointing to my baby’s tiny pen@s. What kind of friend? That person has a problem not the baby!! I told him don’t worry it was on an anonymous forum bla bla bla. Boy was I shaken ! He probably never had that in his whole career! Sorry for derailing but needed to share this

Both testifies are probably there. If you sit him up, you’ll probably visualize them better. They check for them at every well visit.

I felt stupid asking at the well visit, I figured they'll check, but they just opened the diaper for a quick peek and closed it right back up.

I work for a pediatrician. People always have these questions and are embarrassed to ask. We don’t think it’s weird

Hashem makes it intentionally that they "hide" in temperatures not ideal for sorry to live. So could look different base on temp.warm/ cold. Check again.

It’s not weird at all to ask. He expected me to ask about it. He said he has hundreds of babies like this. But to discuss with ladies??? That’s what he found weird. lol. Should I introduce him to imamother?

Check again when your baby is in a warm bath. They usually descend when the kid is warm. If you can’t feel them in the bath, have a pediatrician check him out and refer to urology if needed.

He’s crazy. That’s not a normal reaction, also doesn’t sound like he addressed the actual issue. I’d find a new doctor if one abused me like that.

He sounds even crazier. He has issues with you discussing it with other ladies? He needs help yesterday.

Any private part questions should be presented to a pediatric urologist. Pediatricians are not well versed on all the issues. Some issues are serious and need to be dealt with at young ages. It never hurts to make an appointment and have the specialist in this area rule out any problems. Don’t over think it just go.

I asked my son’s pediatrician about this. My sons scrotum looks empty all the time but the pediatrician was able to “bring them down” and told me not to worry there’s something there just in my son it tends to hide higher up

Clearly he never met a woman. It's perfectly normal for women to reach out to eachother with questions and concerns about private issues.

He might have undescended testicles and will need to have surgery by a pediatric urologist.

Sometimes they go up and down. Retractile I think it is called. Ask the Dr if that's what he has and if it's okay.
