Hi,
So I’m over 40 and really want a wallet on chain type of bag but I want a comfortable strap. I love this Marc Jacobs bag but am I too old for it? Does anyone have any recommendations in this price range? Thank you !

Why would you think you're too old? You may not want the fire engine red model if you're into more discreet colors these days, though I rather applaud women who continue to use color and refuse to fade to black just because they possess a scan tag from the Department for the Aging. Who says only twenty-somethings have the right to red purses?

I used a wrist purse that size for a long time. I upgraded to a purse that is about the size of my stapler. Sorry no ruler so cant measure it now but it holds my phone, keys, money, and has a little more room for an extra item or two. I feel like its a very good in between size. With the wrist purse I felt it was really tight to even put a pen in.

I have seen 40+ women wear such a bag. I think it's actually sophisticated. Such a good size and sleek. Love! And I'm under 35 🤪
