Very inappropriate! It’s never their business. The only appropriate thing is to give a general puberty class if the school asks them too. But absolutely no personal questions. That’s crossing major boundaries I’d report it to the principal.

Huge red flag, you need to involve the principal before this gets out of hand. Why is this any of her business?

Nope. No way. This would be an immediate call to the teacher asking for an explanation and let her know that you're also planning to call the principal to discuss it with her.

What on earth ? Unless a girl is doubled over cramping or has soiled her skirt that is a big case of none of her business

Very weird. Only thing I can think of is that if they are asking to use the bathroom frequently during class and she wants to get a feel for which girls it may truly be urgent (to change a pad). But to ask is very off and I'd call the teacher to find out if this really happened.

Are you the parent or teacher? I would definitely report this to the principal.

Hope this teacher isn’t an abuser!
Unless a girl was crying in pain and the teacher asked her privately are you having period cramps? That’s ok
