If I have time I cook a bunch that freeze well and take out each week, otherwise we buy 3 that have a date for a couple of weeks and enjoy dipping our challa in. |
Recipes for dips/salatim that freeze well.would love to spend one day making and have for the entire yom tov season.

I posted some of mine here. Search dips there are many posts on this.
I would add techina freezes nicely.
I do 1 cup techina, 1 cup water, 2 small garlic cloves, 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 plus TSP salt. (Optional dried parsley) Blend with hand blender. Amend to taste.
I make a large amount and each week take out the freezer, needs a small stir but stays think and delicious last out the freezer for just over a week. So if you take it out on Friday and don't finish it you can use it the next Shabbos.
