I am trying to purchase new china(setting for at least 16) and would appreciate any recommendations of where to buy a set that is affordable. Please share any leads or ideas.

Macys often has nice sets on sale.

If you don't need it to be fancy, Walmart has their own brand of solid white dishes for extremely cheap. Service for 4 is about $11. You can but 4 sets ($44), and buy either a pretty charger, colored salad plate, or both, and still come out with a pretty low total price.

I recently replaced my china with Mikasa set from Costco. I love it. Around $80 for set of 8. Bought 4, 1 I put away
