this is far more in the category of preference than “community standard”

My father, brothers, DH, FIL and other male relative don’t own a PJ shirt. My brother’s started around 8/9 to not wear a pj shirt.

When they go to sleep away camp and no one else is wearing a shirt they usually stop. Of course there are some that do but majority don't
