I need a new freezer, and because I will most likely only use it a couple of times a year, in yomtov prep, probably makes more sense money wise to get a chest freezer (will mostly use it for challah most likely).
any recommendations? I see one from home depot that’s very well priced. Is this ok or need something bigger- better brand?

7 cubit ft is not large. But if it’s only for challah and you don’t have huge crowds, it might work.
I’d suggest you figure out how many cubit ft your freezer you have is, and compare to see if its helpful to you or you need larger.

For thistle price though it’s ok.
My freezer is 3 times the size but more that three times the price.
