I just cant find my niche

I’m super talented and creative. I took various courses when I was single in different creative fields but never really hit on something that spoke to me.
I’m postpartum and not working right now. I can go back to a regular job (that I really dislike) but I feel if I do that I’ll never be pushed to find my “thing”. I’ll also probably quit after a time because I don’t enjoy that kind of work
I recently decided on something that really got me excited, but I spoke to someone in the industry who told me that the economy isn’t doing well right now and it’s a hard business to be in. So that bubble burst
Why are some people just able to figure themselves and their careers out and I’m having such a hard time? It’s so frustrating

I never found my niche. I’ve been working for 25 years and earning money for my family, raising children, and paying tuition. I think that around 60 percent of American workers are not really engaged with their jobs. That being said, I’ve seen people go try to “find themselves” and it generally has turned out horribly for the family members that had been relying on their earnings.

Creative people are so good at many things so they can't pick one. I've seen this with a lot of my friends.
The good news is pick something creative and stick with it and you'll excell imH

Unfortunately a lot of us have to do this and we just figure out a way to make it work

But if you have time now I’d say to experiment to see if you could find something

Or start doing something on the side of your regular job

If it's in a creative industry, sometimes, it's harder to monetize it and make a good parnassah from it. Some talents can be used as a hobby, a side gig, or just some good self-care...

Sounds like you may want to take an aptitude test and see if there are other abilities you can capitalize on? Or maybe they'll have other ideas how you can use this talent for a parnassah...

Do the thing you're good at. Don't worry about it there are too many ppl already doing it. As per Chovos Halivavos.

I used to do all different things. Two years ago I decided to do the thing I love without worrying about money. I actually did it for free. Baruch Hashem I have work. Not a lot, but whoever uses me is happy and I'm hoping my clientele will grow.

Im a graphic designer, and I end up learning and doing many things on the job, over the years. Product photography, illustrating, video editing, 3d rendering...

You can say my thing is "learning new things"

I’m a sheitel macher and I just started using a new wig repair person who found her passion after doing special ed for 20 years!!!
Wig repairs is an amazing super lucrative job.. does that talk to u?
