My daughter's been complaining lately bout her pony being too poofy -any products to recommend to tame it a bit (aside from hair iron)?

What's wrong with an iron? She can iron just the pony and it takes just a few minutes.

It's not healthy for the hair if it's used every day. It makes the hair dull & can burn the hair.

It’s not specifically for this, but whenever my daughter uses it’s a 10 miracle detangler (more for knots etc while brushing) her hair is extra smooth and silky and her pony looks neat and the hair more compact.

Might be obvious but is she brushing it when it’s dry? That could make hair poofy (it does mine)…

Blow drying her hair. Getting proaddiction or Keratin. Cutting it very layered or ‘feathered’. It’s her type of hair…. Whatareyougonnado?

I found switching dd's shampoo and conditioner helped. Some conditoners seem to leave the hair more sleek and less 'poofy'. And never brush it out when dry as that just makes it worse.

Sleep in a pony. And never ever brush dry hair. The more you brush it the poofier it gets. Only brush right after the shower while it’s wet

After she washes her hair she should take some conditioner and smooth it into her hair, then brush. You may need to try out a couple of brands but this really works. Leaves her hair soft, smooth. Gel makes your hair hard.

My daughter has frizzy hair and uses Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Smooth Leave-in Conditioning Cream. It really helps.
