A lot of services have the choice between subscriptions with reduced or free delivery fees on top of the subscription fee, or a pay-per-service delivery fee. Delivery fees pay for a lot of corporate overhead on providing a delivery service, it's a not a fee to your shopper. It's a tip-based service model, and a tip is expected and appropriation whether or not you wish to pay it. You need not tip for poor service, but for adequate and good service, and most especially for hauling a lot of heavy things like water/beverages, a tip is absolutely expected and those who don't tip stand out and shoppers take notice of the patterns in who tips and who does not....
