If you could go to a salon that stocks china wigs for about $1,000 and helps fit you correctly and then you take it to be serviced elsewhere would you buy your next wig that way?

are there any salons or places you can go and try on a wig that comes from china and is therefore cheaper and then take to your own people to get the work done such as lace fronts? This way you arent buying sight unseen?

I recently got a beautiful custom lacetop wavy wig from China (Racheli from RL wigs on Facebook as the go-between) and I spent like $950
I had to dye it (originally got highlights which I regretted cuz they didn’t do a good job) had to cut it, double line the lace etc.
But I really like it BH. I couldn’t afford to buy a new one in a while, and finally feel good in my sheitel again!
I would totally get my next one if there was a local salon that I could try on etc for similar pricing. (When I’m ready for a new one…)

I finally know I feel like I threw away money. It was just not very good quality and hardly lasted. They claimed they sell tons of these. I went to a place in Israel. This is all they do and she tried and fit it but the quality was absolutely horrible. It was good for a few months, but after a few months was literally trash so no, I would not throw away money. Much rather save up for something more quality.

In yerushalayim there is a place like this called wigbox. My sheitel from there is great!
