Full tonsillectomy and we never looked back. Yes it was painful and dc was home for a full week. I havta say though, that before the procedure, the kid was always sick. Literally every six weeks another medication, stronger than the last. Tonsils were forever enlarged too. B"H ever since they came out, if there was ever any illness, it lasted less than 24 hours.

This cured my daughter's tendency to strep and got rid of her sinus headaches at the same time.

Oh my!
So we discussed trying the blisk first. I really hope it will help and we won’t need to go down surgery route.
Do you know if any specific brand is better?

Blis Probiotics is the name of the brand. I order it on Amazon. Taking it religiously according to the instructions is very important. It's been a half a year since my child started and so far no strep.

Can you please share your experience with either?

Dc had very frequent infections and ent wants to do to tonsillectomy.

Is strep the only reason you’re considering removing the tonsils?
I ended up at the ENT with my child because of recurring strep but after speaking to the dr and other ppl with experience the large tonsils & adenoids were effecting so many things in the child’s life. We took them all out. It was a nightmare recovery because the child was 9. When they are younger it is easier.
But we definitely feel like we did the right thing. So many things got better BH!
