I went yesterday. Was a total madhouse shoes everywhere nothing in the right place and couldn't find a thing in my kids sizes.

I'm annoyed because it was such a pleasure last year, but a disaster this year.

Yes it’s such a shame. I didn’t even wait cuz the line was insane yesterday

We waited yesterday. The line took about an hour, but I got shabbos shoes for one toddler, 2 girls, and 1 big boy, plus weekday shoes for my girls.

It sounds crazy to wait that long but the truth is that there's usually a long wait at the more expensive stores too. Just usually inside vs outside.

The shoes we got are okay. If I had walked right in without waiting I might have taken them, but by the time we got inside I was determined to find Smile

6 pairs of shoes for $210.
and the one pair we bought before sukkos is still in very good condition.

Cash or check. It's between little women and French press on Kennedy.

There's an entrance to the building, and the shoes are inside there.

Oh man! An hour is too long.
I only need shabbos shoes for two kids, don’t feel like it’s worth waiting an hour to save $40. Will go to Taps or something like that.

Thanks for sharing your experience!

I went yesterday at 12:55 they opened the doors at 1 and I only had to wait about 10 minutes outside.
It was packed and a little chaotic but I am so happy I went, I got 4 pairs of stunning shoes.

When I was there as hectic as it was and it was definitely a madhouse it was actually pretty organized with things in the labeled places and easy to find.

I waited on lime on Sunday (was one of the first) and it was a madhouse but only had 1 kid with me and got her loafers.
It's a shame I didn't have my others with me. Even on Sunday there was one pair of shabbos shoes I was interested in for a diff kid and could only find one shoe in her size. Was missing the left foot went back monday and tuesday but saw the line was down the block so I didn't bother. Not worth the $25 savings

Has anyone gone later in the week? Are they restocking at all and is it still a madhouse?

Why didn’t they do it in a larger space like they did in the summer? What a shame. Thanks for the warning.

Heard that they will be open again this Sunday April 14th from 1-7.

(The space they are in is actually three times as big as the place they were in, in the summer.)

What’s Taps? Is it cheaper than the regular stores?
