Does such a thing exist? I have one client who wants to send me files using a secure portal and I really don’t want to pay monthly fees for just one client. But I also need to make sure the portal is secure and all the free options seem sketchy.

Is there a way to do it with adobe? I already have a Pro account with them…

Can they send files to me with my dropbox account? Or do they need to set up their own account?

I’ve never used it before.

Is this a HIPAA thing?

If not, free Dropbox account gives you a couple of free gigabytes of space

Not HIPAA but I’m specifically looking for a way that the CLIENT can securely upload or send files to me.

As far as I could tell, dropbox lets me share with them but not the other way…

I used to use a dr who changed her portal every year. I couldn't keep up.

I certainly don't want to do that.

I guess I’ll have to bite the bullet and pay for it…

I would look into Dropbox further. I’m sure you can share a directory, and if I remember correctly you can allow write access as well.

That looks good. Did you ever use it? Do you know how secure it is?

I’m an accountant and data security is really important. To be clear, I always send encrypted and password protected files to the clients. Now I’m looking for a way for the clients to securely send their documents to me.

Do you have Adobe Workfront? They have this type of feature.

Otherwise, use dropbox file request.

Yes, I've used it, but never needed to for confidential stuff.
