If you wear a tampon, a pad/liner and a slip it should be OK. Make sure to change at regular intervals.
If you've leaked before, then scratch the whole idea.

It's underwear that can hold the same amount of blood as several tampons
They come I'd all different styles of underwear. Including boyshorts. Helpful with tampons/pads as backup or alone.
Here are some links on Amazon... but look around sor a style you like. I'm not sure if they have them in store I think maybe target might carry some brands.

Maybe wear 2 pairs of underwear and shorts. When I was young I would wear two pairs of underwear sometimes.

If I bought them special for simcha I Def would. I would pad up well and go to bathroom every hour make sure is good

I would wear a tampon and pad as backup. I would check pretty often and change tampon and pad immediately if the pad has a bit if blood.
Unless you have a really heavy flow or no access to a bathroom, you should be ok.
