True... the hebrew teachers were always ancient .. I just didn't expect Mrs. Halpert to still be there ... She should be Gezunt...

I graduated in 2007 and Reb. Ledereich wasn't teaching in the HS in my days- only in the seminary.

Wow! Graduated in 2003 and this post brought back so many memories..
Cant believe mrs halpert still teaching..
And who remembers "the gum chewing cow and the gum chewing girl"..

Reb Rozmerin is still there teaching!

I didn't go to BYHS, rather Tiferes BY and graduated in '99 -- However, my daughter is in Drav Meir now and there are several (at least 4) teachers I had 25 years ago teaching there!! Kol hakovod to them for still teaching!!

I went to Machon but I had a teacher who used to say this. "The only difference between a gum-chewing girl and a cud-chewing cow is the intelligent look on the face of the cow."

what an interesting thread. I graduated in 2010
im from the queens girls who came by van or subway- so hello to my fellow subway goers- the lower east siders and the queens girls
such great memories from high school lol I cant belive these teachers are still there!!
