3 day YT coming up - I lost some weight recently and don't want to get too off track.
Any ideas for kiddush on RH?
General meal ideas?
Fruit based desserts?
Whole wheat or other healthier challah recipes?

sour dough for the meals
Cut up fruit with a nut crunch for desserts
Make sure you have enough clean vegetables and main options at the meals for yourself. (Healthy salad, clean chicken or meat option)
Fill your plate at the main and then don’t go back for seconds!!!
For kiddush I would stick to oatmeal cookies or squares and substitute the oil for apple sauce and cut a lot of the sugar, ww flour…
The key for yt is to not overeat excessively. As long as you are not completely out of control, you should be able to go back to cleaner eating after without major repercussions

Good points. Funny thing, my nutritionist doesn't allow sour dough at all. Says it's worse 🤷
I find Rosh Hashanah to be the most benign of all the yom tovs in terms of eating. The men are all hungry and tired, and they eat whatever.
And for me, by the time I get home from shul, I feel exactly the same.

For kiddush make a vegetable based muffin (zucchini, carrot, etc..)
Make it whole wheat
I use monk fruit with erithyol to sweeten

No need for kiddush foods. We eat hard boiled eggs & veggies for breakfast & then eat the meal. If the meal is too late you can make kiddush & eat the fish & chalah or whatever your appetizer is & then eat the main by the meal.
Have lots of fish/ meat for the meals & minimize carb sides.
