Is there a specific tefila after lighting shabbos candles?

I recently had my first baby and I always heard that mothers daven for their children after lighting candles. But it just dawned on me that maybe there is a specific tefila we are supposed to say?
Is there? Or do I just daven from my heart? Both?

You can daven from your heart. Some people prefer that, others like a text. I've got a sefer called 'Tefillas Chana' with a beautiful tefilla for after lighting. It's literally got every bakasha you'd want for your children. Can be bought in many sefarim and judaica shops.

Most bentchers with zmiros have the candle lighting tefillah.

Do you mean the Yehi Ratzon tefilla that women say after lighting candles or something beyond that?

Personally, I light the candles and then daven to Hash-m in my own words and then say the yehi ratzon.

I don’t say any yehi ratzon, personally I would probably prefer just from the heart. But if there is a tefila that is usually said then I’d like to say that.
But it sounds like there aren’t really any “rules” per say. Right?

It's customary to say Yehi Ratzon, see Foxglove's link. Cann add anything from your heart.

The yehi ratzon is in every siddur and bentcher right after the bracha for lighting candles.
I daven from my heart immediately after I make the bracha and then I say the yehi ratzon and the tefila for the chayalim.
