So my oven in my new rental does not have shabbos mode as far as I can tell
Frigidaire wall oven.. super old
Anyway I'm completely bugging out..
How am I supposed to make yt? Do I get a hot plate??
Please someone in the same boat give advice and tips

I never used the oven for YT.
I use a hot plate.

So does that mean you don't bake anything on yt? Like roasting veggies fresh?? Or can u still do that on hot plate?
Also I guess I need recommendations for a good hot plate...

ive only used a hot plate and cooked everything before yt, but depending on the oven you can plug in a shabbos timer to go on and off for the times you want.
ask a rav about changing settings and temps whilst its off if you need that

I roast veggies erev YT or steam a package of frozen veggies directly on the plata.
