I will be making a kiddush for someone on Rosh Hashanah.
There will be about 30-40 people.
I will be serving 3 types of kugel which I will be making myself getting cake, if I have time I will probably bake a few, will have herring also.
Probably that is it plus the paper goods and drinks.
What do you think I should charge?
Or what should I charge for my time and I will figure out how much all the ingredients cost separately.

Can’t tell you until you know what your ingredients cost. My local caterer charges $40 a kugel I believe per 9x13… Start from your costs and what you feel your time is worth, and if you can find out ballpark what a comparable service is charging.
