Yes just need someone who will look at full picture of hormone bc and history of pandas and now panick attacks and anxiety …
They push meds which I’ll take but need more picture of what’s going on

I don't know if I would call her holistic in being focused on alternatives like herbs and vitamins BUT she is knowledgeable and open to looking at the whole person in finding solutions outside the typical psychiatric box which includes finding a medical diagnosis even if it looks psychiatric which other doctors would miss.

Tzippy Schiller is a psychiatric nurse practitioner. She definitely looks at things from an out of the box, holistic perspective and she's very up on the research. I haven't heard that she treats with supplements or anything like that. As far as I know, she only prescribes medication. I could be wrong but that's what I've heard.

Otherwise, Rosalie Greenberg is a holistic psychiatrist. So is Phyllis Heffner.

But would Tzippy Schiller help figure out what the causes for these panick attacks are and not just say take Zoloft for the rest of your life

If it's something medical, yes. If it's trauma, you need a therapist.

I had similar- anxiety, panic attacks and BH, BH am doing so much better now, it's a real miracle. Look for someone who does Craniosacral therapy/somatic work, emotion code, homeopathy. I went to someone natural (not in lakewood) who knows all these modalities (and more) and used a combo of things on me. BH, I'm really doing so much better now.

My daughter sees Tzippy for a mental health condition and she also has a medical condition. Tzippy treats both, and consults with top specialists about her. She is the first person to have introduced other lesser known options to her, to bring her medical condition under control on top of her mental health condition. (they are related in that one exacerbates the other).

So if you need Zoloft, yes, she will put you on zoloft. But if you have other concerns she will look at them as well. But she isn't going to try to find something else just because you might be resistant to taking meds if that's what you need.
