Our nose suction thing was accidentally thrown out and our 6 month old has a very stuffed nose. What do I do?

I would run the shower with hot water so the bathroom gets steamy and sit with him in the room
When he goes to sleep place a cut up onion near him

Thank you! Where do I put the onion? Dresser near his crib?

Yes, near enough that he can inhale the smell

Salt water up the nose to clear it.

Some people find that the suction gadget irritates the nose and makes everything worse. That’s what happened to me with my daughter. After that I just tap on the outside of the nostrils to loosen the snot and help it make its way down to come out. It’s more gentle in my opinion.

Stuffed noses many times are from swelling and no amount of suction will clear it. Suction will only work for mucus stuck in the nose.

That’s the plan. It was just 2:00 am when I posted and I don’t have 24 hour pharmacy near me

Rinse your fingers with water and rub his nostrils. Do this as many times needed until his mucus is soft and runny. Then you can squeeze his nose so that it all slides out.
