I can think of five valid reasons she would want to know about a chanuka program now. Maybe she can offer her services, etc. And even if it's just for pleasure it's still no reason to mock.

Just popping in to say that I’m more like you and like things planned in advance. Yes I can do spontaneous too but there’s nothing like a calendar with everything in its place TYH.

Actually, trying to plan a bar mitzvah and thought it may be easier to tag along with a program. It's definitely not too early to plan for a Chanukah Bar Mitzvah...

My Purim theme this year will be Shabbos.

I don't have girls.

I have many good cheesecake recipes.
Here's one:
Greek Yogurt Cheese Snack
Ingredients:
2 containers (8 oz each) whipped cream cheese
32 oz. container plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
1 cup sugar
4 extra-large eggs
Directions: Preheat oven to 300 F. Place a 9x13 pan filled halfway with water on the bottom shelf of the oven.
Meanwhile, place cream cheese in a large bowl. Mix in Greek yogurt in four parts. You must mix it in parts or it won’t combine properly.
Mix in eggs, one at a time.
Add sugars and gently mix until well combined. Pour batter into baking cups. Place cups on cookie sheet.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until middle is almost set. Then turn off oven and leave in oven with the door closed for another 10-15 minutes, until set. Let cool completely. Serve cold.

Yes, there will be minyanim in Lancaster in August, unless Mashiach arrives first.
