Thank you

Depending on how heavy it is, $10 plus

So if I place an order of $200.00 I need to pay the delivery guy a tip of $20.00? on top of shipping charges?
Why does that make sense?

Minimum, 10% of your total order.

You're placing a walmart grocery order or a shipping order? If it's shipping, I wouldn't tip unless they bring it into the house. If it's groceries, I'd tip 15% if there's a very heavy item included.

Shipping fees don't go the delivery person but a tip will.

That’s a fairly typical expectation in the service world(that tip is based on how much is spent and not just effort.) for example a waiter gets tipped more if they order steak over kids meals.

Isn’t Walmart delivery free over $35?
I would not go based off a percentage of your order total, the shopper does not see how much your order costs. If it’s a lot of items, bulky items or heavy items- tip a lot. If it’s one case of water and nothing else I’d probably tip $5. After that I’d add $3-$5 per case (so for 5 cases of water I’d probably tip $20-25)

I can't afford to tip so much but I really do need these items delivered. Any tips? Pardon the pun
