Of it…wanted to post a screenshot but not sure how to.
It was a pdf with my name address and phone number and a picture of the house directly across from mine.
The guy is writing that he is videos from me watching filth which I don’t recall ever doing and he has footage from me from inside my house doing embarrassing things… help, I can’t imagine what… and if I don’t send him $1950, he’ll spread it all to my contacts….
Is such a thing possible, or someone’s just trying to make some fraudulent money off me?
Oh and he also wrote that if I share this email with someone, he’ll know and fwd all the filthy footage to my contacts….or if I don’t send the payment within a day, he’ll fwd to all mg contacts. And his bitcoin system will pick up if I discuss or share this email with anyone
Did anyone else receive such an email??

It’s a scam. Just delete. They probably pulled the picture from google maps
Edit, don’t open pdfs if you don’t know the sender! In the future just mark it as spam!

Most likely nothing but run an antivirus scan.
Report the email and block the sender.

OMG my husband just got almost the same. There is a picture of our driveway and a demand for 1 bitcoin or else they will tell all his contacts about the horrible sites he goes to.
My husband used to work in IT he said its a scam. Just delete it.
Run a scan virus or call an IT person.

Whenever you're not sure, Google it and ask if it's a scam. Every Single time I have done this it has turned out to be a scam.

Thanks all!! | If you’re on a phone then I’d assume you’re ok. Viruses are usually for computers.

Run a scan virus or call an IT person. | Google maps released a new api so maybe that’s why. It’s very easy to get data from google maps now.
