My adhd and autistic 7 year old is having a very difficult time with shabbos right now. The break from routine, the long day and withdrawal from his tablet, which calms him down- is an awful mix. We try to get him books to read, bring him to shul, build lego and have play dates but its still really hard and he's off the wall and sometimes uncontrollable. What do people in a simular situation do? Is there a Rav the specializes in these areas.. dreading the upcoming 3 day yuntifs.

I think you need to think of other things that help him regulate that don’t involve his tablet and have them prepared beforehand. Staying home for meals is helpful instead of eating out (maybe invite guests instead if you are up to it). Another thing you can do is buy something new which involves building like 3d puzzles. They can take time and some asd kids love them. If he hyperfocuses, maybe buying a bunch of dominoes for him to set up domino effects.

I second this.
Get him acclimated to non-electronic stimulus. Also, try to find a reward system that works on Shabbos

My autistic twins are 17 now, but back then, I always had a huge stack of library books I knew they'd love and we read them together one at a time. Also we had subscriptions to Highlights and Ranger Rick and we saved those only for Shabbos.
Marble runs are another fun addition to lego...... and board games if your kiddo can handle it (took a while for my twins to learn turn taking and being a good sport, etc.
Joke books and talking games (name a food that begins with A, B, C, etc) are fun too. I just made sure to engage with them a lot and take turns with hubby so we each got a nap.
Friendship Circle provided "Friends At Home" for an hour each Shabbos for a while as well.
