Hi. I'm looking to go away with my family ages 2-14 for a day or two. Is Jiminy Peek a nice place and is there anything else to do in that area?

Not for 2 year old (though there is a great playground there) but yes for school aged and older kids who like adventure type activities.

There’s enough to do there for 2 days and hikes and waterfalls nearby . We rented one of those small houses there and went swimming in the pool and made a barbque on the back porch. It was very nice family trip for 2 days. It took 4 hours from Lakewood so until we got there it wasn’t 2 full days
Theres a chabad right there with pizza and minyan. It’s perfect vacation

So what do the families with toddlers and preschool kids do with them id it’s mainly geared for older kids? How do they spend two days there?
Tried looking into it for our family who has same age range as OP and from this site it didnt seem to make sense.
I’d love to hear more.

We used to go to Jiminy Peak with our extended family when our kids were young. We went to Bennington Vermont for the day (museum, car museum). There are things to do in the Berkshires in general: Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield to the south is small and good for even young kids. Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge. Shaker Village is located near Jiminy Peak and is famous for its round barn.
Here is some more information. For reference, Hancock (where Jiminy Peak is located in the middle Berkshires)
