It was a bc fail?
Why didn't she realize she'd gained weight?
Was she full term? |
They don't know for sure how many weeks, but they estimate 35 weeks. She's small, 5.1lbs but mostly well developed. She was in NICU for 5 days because she needed a bit of oxygen, and an NG tube as her sucking reflex wasn't strong.
The baby is still under observation, she needs some help with breathing, and they don't want her to lose weight, she seems to be using up too much energy to maintain her body temp. Not in the NICU anymore, but she's hoping middle next week she can take her home... Her partner doing his bit!
