Hi All,
I'm trying to help my daughter brush up on her language/writing skills... but seems I am worse than her...
She wants to write about twins(she has cute names and opposite personalities for them... one being a messy creative sensetive soul... one the perfect student etc...
she showed me how to brainstorm on paper
she wrote beginning, 1 twin burns her test paper and think she off hook but teacher calls for a meeting... she than goes into descripton of each twin...
so how can I help her stay on topic and get into story
any ideas for actual story?
Is this a too long subject for a short story?
Any other ideas and ways to help with writing skills

Google writing prompts.
Let the first draft be messy and tell her not to edit it,, even to go back and rewrite in the moment
First you have to actually get something out before you can make a good story
