I splurged on a sheitel with virgin hair. It was so soft and silky and I felt like it was worth spending more because it will last. I dropped it off at a popular wig repair place and when I got it back one side of the sheitel was completely damaged. So many split ends and it's so rough. The other side is pretty much fine so I know that it wasn't inevitable from the highlighting. They messed up. I'm usually not one to complain and im not confrontational but I'm really upset. I want more than just a refund for the highlighting because they permanently damaged really good hair that I spent a lot of money on. Please help!

I’m so so sorry! It’s so upsetting to spend a lot and then it’s not wearable. I have a few questions and comments.
How new is the swig? And why were you taking it to the repair shop?
There is no such thing as a sellable virgin wig. It MUST Be processed before they can sell it. Because the wig industry is completely unregulated, anyone can tell you anything and they don’t need to back it up because they can’t. If you ready to wear wig, it was not virgin hair.
If it came back this way on half of the wig after some kind of treatment, my guess is that those wefts were treated and sewn Incorrectly. And it only came out now because whatever it was processed with before you purchases it is gone now.
And in any case, if this was done recently, you absolutely have a case to bring to the wigseller.
