Hi!
We are interested in finding out more about Tel Tzion with a view to potentially move there. We're looking for a welcoming place with a community-feel to it and somewhat of an Anglo presence. Hashkafically we want open-minded chareidi, and we're fine living in a non-homogeneous area. Does Tel Tzion sound appropriate for us?
What’s the general feel of the community? How is the Anglo presence there? What kind of price range is housing?
Thanks in advance for any info or advice!! We really appreciate

I don't know of many anglos there. It's on the other side of the green line and you need a car to live there. I know some American israelis there in the new project. It seems like they're more kollel type long term. The drive there is gorgeous. About 25 min from jlem

Tel Tsiyon is super old school charedi as far as I know - not what I would consider open minded at all....

I think it's more mainstream chareidi. But slow paced, low pressure, oot vibe. I do have connections to one anglo family who lives there. If you pm, I can try to get you in touch.

I actually know that a bbunch of anglos have been moving in over the past 2-3 years , so there's much more of a presence than there used to be.
It's a slower pace, not city, low COL.
But it is very "in the box" chareidi, very homogenous.

It’s not a very American place. Definitely out of town feel, not materialistic people, very chareidi

Tel Tzion shares a security perimeter with Kochav Yaakov, which is more open minded and has a bigger mix of hashkafos and several Anglo families. Wonderful place. A bit hard to get around without a car. We lived there when we made Aliyah.
